Overview
I grew up on a back-to-the-land Farmstead, until my dad suddenly died.
Have you ever wanted to drop everything, move to the woods, clear the land, dig your own well, build your own house, grow your own food, reject modern conveniences and raise your children like a 19th century farmer? A lot of people want to, I know because I follow them on Instagram. But the kind of person who would want to do that doesn’t have a lot in common with the kind of person who could actually succeed at it.
With humility and humor “Wicked Problems” shares my experience growing up as a child of this idealism, it’s beauty and my realization that self-reliance is ultimately impossible. The story consists of brief anecdotes of rural life, revealing specific challenges that arise and the compromises required to resolve them. The proposed final length is roughly 250 pages in one to three installments. Wicked Problems was hand drawn and hand colored and designed to print 8.5x5.5.
